The third annual consumer choice awards: #beauty20 took place on 29th of April in London, after 2014 event in New York and 2013 – Paris.
The celebration took place during the innoCos Digital event where beauty executives heard keynote speeches given by Hanna Ben-Shabat, Partner, A.T.Kearney, Marco Roncaglio, , Sr. Director of Online Marketing & CRM, Philips Consumer Lifestyle & Nick Bamber, head of partnership marketing, strategy, sales & innovation, ASDA.
The #beauty20 Awards were created to benchmark the companies who are the most successful in connecting with consumers through digital technology and social media.
The innoCos team selected 10 of the most popular digital marketing platforms as categories of the awards and over 250 award entries were received. With much deliberation and critical review, our team of judges selected the top five brands from each of the 10 categories.
After collecting the results, we gave consumers a month to vote for their favourite beauty brand online. Over 8.000 votes were received and below are the results with the winners:

Benefit Cosmetics – the big winner this year, brought home the most trophies, winning three categories: Best Twitter, Best Instagram and Best Beauty Brand Online.
Mary Kay won for the third year Best eCommerce Website and Dove lead for the third year as the Best Video with Dove: Legacy. OPI – the biggest winner in 2014, won again the category: Best Pinterest. We always excited to see new startups with new faces every year. This year California based brand eSalon which is very fast expanding in Europe, took the trophy. We also like to recognise new successful beauty bloggers and this year London’s big winner is Jen Thorne with her blog: Beauty Junkie London.
The winners, in addition to recognition from their customers and Global Cosmetics Community, received a beautiful custom made trophy. The trophy was custom made for this awards in the shape of the letter C for Customer, Consumer or Care,” which describes the nature of digital marketing.
The awards were presented by VIP bloggers invited by PR partner of the #beauty20 awards: Fuel PR, including Maddie Bruce, Jodie Porteous, Jen Thorne, Hayley Carr, Lauren Shipley
For the acceptance ceremony, finalists were asked to prepare a “5 words or less” speech to keep it exciting and easy to share on social media networks.

The #beauty20 Awards by innoCos is the first digital marketing awards celebrating the best beauty brands online. The awards were launched in Paris in 2013 and New York in 2014. innoCos believe that events in Paris, New York and London will inspire more brands to join the competition this year in Los Angeles (October 2015) and will become an annual event at all 4 locations, with one more upcoming – Shanghai. Nominations and online voting in now opened for the awards in Los Angeles on #beauty20 awards website. Celebration will take place on 29th October 2015 at innoCos Digital event in Los Angles.
