L’Oreal Paris Glam Bronze Eau De Soleil – IMG_5729

This is a liquid bronzer with a tiny gold shimmer inside, “Weightless fresh bronzer, natural healthy tan. Our 1st liquid bronzer, radiant sunkissed glow, no makeup feel”.

I must admit that when I first tried this product out, I was scared as I have never used a liquid bronzer before. As I carried on and learned how to work with it, I became more confident and realised how easy it was.

The packaging is not very practical, it takes up a lot of room in my makeup bag, has no pump to get it out, which makes it harder to not waste the product as it is liquid form it just runs down my hand if I use my hand as my palette.

The packaging is exactly the same as the Nude Magique foundation, slightly runnier in thickness.

As you can see in this photo Glam Bronze is thinner and moves on my hand more than the Nude Magique foundation.

It is very easy to use too much, (see photo) as there is no pump to get a small amount out, but if blended it can look natural, and give a beautiful sun-kissed glow.

It sets semi matte on myself, but if I use it over my powder it remains matte which is something I like about this product, considering the shimmer in the product it can only be detected if you look very close at the face.

A strong positive to this product is that once applied it does not look cakey on the skin unlike powder bronzers which can enhance this effect.

The smell is too strong, for me I do not want to smell that on my face all day. It is similar to how hairspray smells so if you are sensitive to strong fragrances bare this in mind because it is on your face.

It blends well with fingers or brush, I would recommend using a brush to make sure it is completely blended. I use my fingers and mainly my Real Techniques Buffing Brush, which is perfect for everything.

I think it will be good in particular for me in the beginning of summer when I need to darken my remaining winter foundations. Hopefully this will dilute the fragrance too, and of course for general bronzing.

For someone as pale as me, a little goes a very long way and the 30ml will last a long time which is great value for money!

Have you tried this liquid bronzer?

Thank you for reading!

So, do these shampoos really work? Keep reading this article to get the answer to this question.

The Causes of Hair Loss

The fact is that you may lose around 60-100 hairs a day. If this amount drastically increases, it leads to hair thinning.

As a result, it can cause hair loss. Hair loss includes different types. Also, there is a variety of symptoms and causes of this problem.

Anabel Kingsley said that female hair thinning is caused by the two most common causes.

The first cause is having a genetic predisposition to follicle sensitivity. And, another one is excessive daily hair fall.

Besides, hair loss may occur due to a lack of iron and other vital vitamins. If you overuse dry shampoo, you may have to face premature balding. Therefore, you shouldn’t use it too often.

You can use hair loss shampoo to slow down the process of hair loss. Moreover, these products can also encourage healthier hair growth.

They are made to improve hair and scalp condition since these shampoos may not contact with the hair to encourage the right re-growth.

How to Choose the Right Hair Growth Shampoo

Just like any other product, you also need to do your research first. This step is to allow you to get the right shampoo for your situation. There are some essential factors you should consider when choosing a hair growth shampoo.

Nutrition Problems

If your hair condition is caused by bad nutrition, it is essential to look for ones that deliver nutrition back to your hair.

Allergies

If you may get allergies because of certain substances, you should choose a hypoallergenic hair loss shampoo. Also, it is essential to check the list of ingredients in the products you choose.

Avoidance

You should not choose ones that fail to deal with hair loss. Some of them may be even marketed as hair growth products. However, they contain ingredients added just for conditioning purposes.

LITTLE ONDINE NAIL POLISH REVIEW

I’ve never been a nail polish fan in the past. It was time consuming, it stained, I could never get it off, it constantly chipped and, worst of all, it made my usually very strong nails weak.

I was lucky enough to work with Little Ondine for a video shoot recently, where I had to put nail polish on in different situations and colours. From then on, I’ve been very much in love!

Set of Little Ondine Nail Varnishes

Little Ondine use natural resin, organic colourants and water. The nail polish is odourless too, so you can apply it wherever you are and not annoy anyone else, which is something everyone dislikes on public transport.

It’s extremely quick drying which is great, if you are like me and don’t have the patience to sit and let nail polish dry. Also, you can simply just peel off the colour once it dries which is great if you change your mind about a colour or outfit.

No need for base coat to protect the nail or top coat to give shine, just one coat is enough to give a vivid colour and a shiny coat!

My favourite has to be Waltz L802 – it’s so unbelievably beautiful. Finally, there is a glitter nail polish that comes off so effortlessly!

The reason I’m in love with this product is because it is so easy, natural, inexpensive and comes in so many different colours and even a selection of mattes!

If you like the sound of Little Ondine nail varnishes and want to give them a go, use the discount code ACR10, exclusive to readers of my blog, to get 10% off their website!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY FILMSTAR BRONZE AND GLOW REVIEW – WITH THE POWDER AND SCULPT BRUSH

Firstly this packaging is stunning! So beautiful.

I found after I’d finished my base of foundation and powder for the first time of using this product I had to build it up, but now as I’ve used it for quite a few months I have learned to use it and also how to work with it, which is something everyone does with a new product, so now as it is getting warmer I don’t have as much powder on my face so the bronzer sticks to my skin quite quickly therefore I feel I don’t need that much product. Although I love to build both of them up for the night time, also they both make amazing eyeshadows!

There are extremely fine bits of shimmer within the bronzer, but virtually undetectable on the skin which is a good thing for me as I really dislike shimmer in products.

I do not need much of this product for daytime, especially with help from her powder and sculpt brush it does all the work for you with the shorter sides doing all the blending. It makes your cheekbones pop instantly just with one swipe.

The highlight is very pigmented, it is similar to Nars Albatross but less gold, so it is not a natural looking highlight, but could be if used and blended correctly.

I will insert swatches of both the Nars highlighter and Charlotte Tilbury’s for reference. Once I’ve found it…

I find that I don’t need much on the brush for the daytime just a quick dab of the brush and it will give you a soft summer sunset colour glow.

Description on the back, Bronze: Apply bronzer to cheek hollows, temples, jaw line, sides and tip of nose and blend.

Glow: Apply highlighter to top of cheek bones, centre of nose, bow of lips and brow bone to give you candle-lit skin.

So far I am obsessed with this product, I use it nearly everyday. It is so beautiful I will definitely be purchasing it again!

Have you tried this product before? What do you think?

LAURA MERCIER TINTED MOISTURISER SPF 20

Lightweight flawless coverage.

I’ve been finding it difficult to find a tinted moisturiser that matched my skin tone, Laura Mercier has a huge range of colours which is very rare for tinted moisturisers, and also an oil free version which I didn’t like as it was too drying on my skin.

I’m looking for an everyday tinted moisturiser, one I can use 7 days a week I think this might be quite expensive for an everyday tinted moisturiser. What attracted me the most was the lack of ingredients in this product which will help my skin have a break from the amount that is put on my skin when I’m shooting.

Firstly I got wrongly matched in colour and product (oil free) at another Laura Mercier counter and I’m really disappointed in her service as she just did not care I could tell which is also bad because I was introducing my mother to the brand which wasn’t a good starting point for the company as a new customer. So I took it to another Fenwick store on New Bond Street and the lovely lady at the counter rematched me and gave an excellent service.

First layer- undetectable on the skin, just gives a healthy moisturised plump glow with slight coverage.

Second layer- still pretty much undetectable on the skin, baring in mind I hate any look of product build up on my face, so in someone else’s opinion it could be completely undetectable.

This product will need setting in place, I use Laura Mercier’s pressed setting powder in translucent which also doesn’t appear cakey on the skin, it is traceless.

So I’ve been using this product for over a month now! Overall this product is outstanding, if you can try it, get a tester first as it is quite pricey, there are a lot of colours and the oil free one oxidises more than the other so it changes colour over time. If you have tried it let me know what you think!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY’S MAGIC CREAM REVIEW

Treat & Transform Moisturiser SPF15

I’ve never had this many compliments on my skin, especially from actual makeup artists. I owe it all to this moisturiser, it is soothing, smoothing, instantly hydrating and kept hydrated all day, (it has hyaluronic acid). With all of that it never feels heavy on the skin not cloggy or like plastic like some moisturisers. Once placed in the areas on the face then smoothed in, it disappears and your skin is left feeling luxurious.

It calms my skin after the sensitivity of cleansing, it de-stresses it. I think it really rescues my dry skin and doesn’t add to my oily T-zone I get at the end of the day usually, and does not cause break outs.

I first tried this moisturiser when I worked for Charlotte Tilbury at an event where she was opening a new counter at a department store in London, where all models had different looks from her collection. I had Ingénue, which I was slightly gutted about because it is a very natural look with barely any makeup on so I didn’t get to try as many products.

The makeup artist kept putting layers of the moisturiser on my skin, as it is very dehydrated. The first thing I noticed was my skin looked and felt plump, I thought I was just imagining it at first but the more it was used on me at different shoots I then realised what it was.

It is pricey so take a small pot to a counter and ask for a tester first.

Now four months on with the same pot I can’t imagine ever using anything else, my skin really has been transformed. Have you ever used Charlotte’s Magic Cream? Tell me what you think!

REVIEW TIGI S FACTOR TRUE LASTING COLOUR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

This product for me is a must, I just love it so much that I’m upset it’s running out and I have to move on to other shampoos that I must use up, it makes my hair feel completely nourished and full of life, who would want to move away from that?

It feels stronger straight after use and is softer, I don’t need to put any of my hair oil on to help comb it through, which is very rare for bleached hair.

As for the true lasting colour aspect, I can’t say I have noticed which could be a sign that it does help towards lasting colour, but at the same time I feel that it doesn’t strip my hair as much as other shampoo and conditioners that I’ve noticed, which means the colour will last longer, and also it stays cleaner for longer too, which is amazing because I have very oily skin.

This shampoo is by far the best shampoo I’ve ever used, I can feel myself that it’s cleansing the scalp and removing dead skin cells whilst making my roots feel lifted and not weighed down. I’m trying to explain what I mean in these… err hairy photographs!

My hair is usually quite flat and straight but here it has a bit of life and bounce and thickness to it which is extremely occasional unless someone else takes care of it.

I’ve never spent this much on a shampoo before, I had no idea that a shampoo and conditioner could do such great things to my hair! I never thought I would be saying this but, I wont be buying crappy shampoos again because they do more than just wash dirty hair.

Do you agree if you spend more on shampoo and conditioner you get more? I hope you found my to-the-point review helpful! Thank you for reading. 🙂 xxx
